Hidden Treasures

After spending waaaay too much time in a bookstore today (I've got a serious book addiction... it's not even funny) I decided to walk home. The trams were way too crowded for my liking & I thought I could use the 'exercise' (ugh, I miss my Dutch bike... health benefits & convenience & coolness, all rolled into one!). On my way home I walked past a few buildings whose façades I always admire. In fact, I wanted to take a picture of said buildings quite a few times before, but I only got the chance today - I always try to carry my camera with me these days (trying to get in the professional blogger mode :). Check them out...

I think I mainly like this one because it reminds me of the house where I lived with my family in Helsinki.

This one's my favourite... very Blair Waldorfey. :)

I always think apartments in these buildings must be amazing. I also wonder who lives there... Sometimes I think it's a cool magazine editor who looks like Daphne Guinness. She has the huge apartment all to herself & throws decadent parties that start after midnight. Sometimes I feel like writing a book about someone like that.
